2	What is Belle of the Ball Prom and Homecoming is a highlight for many high schools girls and one that calls for a pretty dress. But as formal season approaches, there are countless girls who are unable to afford a dress. "Belle of the Ball" is a project to give those girls a beautiful dress for their special evening. The reasons of why and how are not important just that we are there to help them out with their homecoming or prom needs. All of the dresses are free of charge and we hope they will be returned to Belle of the Ball when you are through wearing them. The idea is to not have a single dress hanging in the back of a closet not being worn. Many of our dresses are new with tags still attached and many have been worn only once.
3	How to Donate Dresses We collect: fairly new, gently worn prom, homecoming, cocktail, bridesmaids, and party dresses. Shoes, jewelry, purses, and accessories. Where to Donate: Party City Store of Countryside: 26252 US 19 N. Clearwater FL, 33761 West side of US 19 next to Toys ‘R Us & Red Lobster Any time during regular business hours> 9:30am-9:00pm.
4	Distributions Distributions are held twice a year. Two consecutive Saturdays before Homecoming in the fall and again in the Spring before Prom. Homecoming Distribution of 2006 Saturday Sep. 9^th , 16^th , and 23^rd (please do not show up before 10:00am) 10:00am until 1:00pm (please do not show up before 10:00am) No appointment necessary. Location 1281 S. Missouri Ave. Clearwater, F.L. Suite 1281 On east side of road. It is between Jeffords St. and Lakeview Rd. in the plaza between Big Lots and Albertsons.
5	Who Qualifies for a FREE Dress Any high school girl who is on free or reduced lunch. Family Financial Difficulties. Referred to by Church or Civic Organization. Referred to by School Social Worker, Guidance Counselor, or Community Involvement Personnel. No referral letter necessary. We highly respect the Honor System during our distributions. Teen must be present to receive a free dress!
6	Extras Each girl will receive a one time use coupon good for one Belle of the Ball dress dry cleaning. She can have her prom/homecoming dress dry cleaned (free of charge) either before the dance or afterwards and keep the dress or donate back to Belle of the Ball. We would like to thank Sun Country Cleaners for their generosity in helping our girls with the cleaning of their dresses.
